The Gardens of the Sun (Casson French: Les Jardins d'Souhonnèche; Polish: Ogrody Słoneczne) are a collection of hedge-walled gardens proceeding northwards from the Palace of the Sun in Cassony towards the River Seine, where it meets the Royal Casson Dock. The design of the gardens was inspired by French Renaissance garden architecture, with some Stuart influence. The gardens are laid out across three tiers, each separated by stone stairs, with the lowest tier situated at the northernmost part of the gardens.
