The Chicken Island Keys, or the Keys is an archipelago situated directly north of Meow Island and directly south of Horse Island. The Chicken Island Keys are made up of Key Impenetrable, Key Gemini, and Key Arrakis.

History

Settlement

During the Imperial Era of Chicken Island history, the keys were incorporated into the Kingdom of Chicken Island as a Protectorate, meaning that it was directly controlled by the Queen. The only inhabited island is the southmost island of Key Impenetrable which has the oldest castle on the server, Château Céleste.

Boarder Dispute

Key Arrakis has an ongoing boarder dispute between the Northern Realm and the Kingdom of Chicken Island. The charter that established the keys as a part of the kingdom stated that all island within the Chicken Island Sea besides spawn were the property of Chicken Island. Seni of the Northern Realm disputed the legitimacy of the Kingdom's claim of key Arrakis stating that key Arrakis was an artificial island that was created by the small canal separating the land mass with the continent of Nostria. Constitutional scholars of Chicken Island overwhelmingly believe it is unconstitutional for Chicken Island to enforce its claim over an artificial island. Despite these objections, the kingdom still enforces its claim of the island and key Arrakis remains a de facto part of the kingdom.
