Francophone Schism

The Francophone Schism is a geopolitical event that took place on 24 January 2025. It began with Chicken Island's declaration that French was no longer an official language of Chicken Island, and the strengthening of Chicken Island ties with the Bling Dynasty. This caused a cultural divide between Chicken Island and the Francophone nations that once had closer cultural ties to it, such as Simbois and Cassony. The Schism ultimately resulted in the strengthening of ties between these nations, with Simbois initiating steps to become part of Cassony.
